The University's name, in any word form including the logo, is protected from use without the University's permission by registered trademark registration. Any use of the University's logo not outlined on this Web site, in the Communications Toolbox, or in the Web guidelines, must be approved by the University Trademarks, Logos, and Licensing Manager.
By downloading these images you are agreeing to adhere to these policies and guidelines.
Guidelines for use of the logo on Web sites:
Colorado State University Web standards and guidelines require that the official logo of the University appear on the top level page that represents a college, department, unit or program of Colorado State University. The Colorado State University logo provides a visual and easy way to incorporate the University's name and visual identity.
- It is the responsibility of the author(s) to read all instructions accompanying these files as well as the CSU Web Standards and Guidelines
- Use only the logos provided on these pages. Only these logos are allowed on official university web pages.
- Use these only in the sizes provided; do not resize. Resizing will cause a degradation in quality.
- Do not alter the logos, change the logo color (dark green, gold and white are acceptable for web use) or in any other way obscure the logo in your usage.
- These logos are for use only on WWW pages. They are not suitable for use on printed publications.
- Select the version (centered or flush-right) most suitable for your format. There is no flush-left version of the University logo.

About these web logos
These logo are provided in a Photoshop (.PSD) format so you can use them within your design or layout software. They will need to be saved as a .gif, or .jpg to be viewable on the web.
How to download logos:
To download a .PSD logo, click on a logo below and save the file to a location on your computer. You will need to have a program that can open Photoshop files to be able to use these logos and convert them to a web-ready format. If you do not have a Photoshop compatible program, you can use one of these open-source alternatives:
- GIMP
- Portable GIMP (a version of GIMP that does not require installation).
