The University’s name, in any word form, logos, and other registered trademarks are protected by federal and state trademark laws. Logos may be downloaded from this site by Colorado State University employees, faculty and students ONLY.
Commercially Produced Products
By law, commercial vendors must apply for a license to use these marks through the University’s licensing partner, the Collegiate Licensing Company. Visit the licensing page for more information.
Products for On-Campus Use
If you are a CSU student or a member of the faculty or staff, there are four steps to using the institutional name, symbols, graphics and/or marks. These are outlined on the Graphic Standards home page.
- Varsity and sport club items (apparel, uniforms and equipment) - Artwork must be approved by Michelle Fargher, Assistant Director of Marketing and Licensing, at 970-491-5433 or michelle.fargher@colostate.edu.
- Items for internal use - Artwork must be approved by Communication & Creative Services, contact Natalie McCatty at 970-491-4179.
- Web sites and electronic communications - The The Department of Web Communications approves Web sites, contact Leslie Hilbert at 970-491-1128.
Communications and Creative Services can also assist you in creating print-ready files to vendor specs.

Web Logos (Raster Art - .gif format, 72 dpi)
